Is a credit card required to book?
No. It’s not required to have a credit card. You can pay the rental using cash, wire transfer, debit or credit card.
What are the requirements to rent a scooter?
In Santa Maria is required to have at least 20 years old and having a Driving License for the matching category (A1 or A). If you are at least 25 years old and have a B (car) license, you are also allowed to drive a scooter up to 125cc.
Is it mandatory to have a deposit?
Yes, in Santa Maria is required to have a deposit of €200 for the scooters and motoquads and €800 for the buggy. It can be in cash, debit or credit card.
Can I take the vehicle to another island or location?
No, it is not allowed to bring the vehicle to another island. However we offer rentals in other islands too.
What type of insurances are available?
The scooter has the mandatory insurance by law – the third party liability. There’s no possibility to have an extra coverage.
