Where are the pick-up and drop-off locations?
In São Jorge you can collect the scooter from and return to at Velas ferry terminal, where the office is.
Can I take the scooter to another island or location?
Yes, you are allowed to bring the scooter to the “triangle”: Pico and Faial, as long as you return it to São Jorge.
Can I rent a scooter with only a Car Driving License?
Yes, you are allowed to drive a scooter up to 125cc in Portugal, as long as you are at least 25 years old, according to the law.
Do you require a deposit?
In São Jorge there’s no security deposit.
Do you suggest booking in advance?
During the summer time in the Azores (June-August) there’s a peak of visitors and availability is scarce, therefore we recommend booking as soon as you book your flights or ferry and preferably 3 months in advance.
