No. It’s not required to have a credit card. You can pay the remainder of the rental in cash, debit or credit card.
What are the requirements to rent a scooter?
In Santa Maria is required to have at least 20 years old and having a Driving License for the matching category (A1 or A). If you are at least 25 years old and have a B (car) license, you are also allowed to drive a scooter up to 125cc.
Is it mandatory to leave a security deposit?
Yes, which varies from €300 to €800 depending on the product. Please refer to the product description. At the end of the rental will be released.
Can I take the vehicle to another island or location?
No, it is not allowed to bring the vehicle to another island. However we offer rentals in other islands too.
What type of insurances are available?
The scooter has the mandatory insurance by law – the third party liability. There’s no possibility to have an extra coverage.
